After 3 days of competition the winning teams and individuals can be announced
After a fantastic week the winners of this years competition were announced.
The Individuals:
Gold Medal Winner - Ian Barr England
Silver Medal Winner - Donald Thom Canada
Bronze Medal Winner - Christian Jadoyille Belgium
These results were hard earned with strong competition from all around the world. Well done Ian, Donald and Christian.
The Teams:
1st position - England
2nd position - France
3rd position - Scotland
The team competition went right to the last day, well done to all.

World Fly Fishing Championships 2009
The FIPS-Mouche World Fly Fishing Championships 2009 in Scotland
The various venues for the Fips-Mouche World Fly Fishing Championships have been organised and include the Lake of Menteith, Loch Leven, Loch Awe and Carron valley. For the river sector beats on the River Tay have been organised. With such wonderful venues a fantastic time is anticipated for those taking part. The beautiful town of Drymen on the banks of Loch Lomond is to be the venue of the event with the Buchanan Arms and the Winnock Hotel providing the accommodation and hospitality. The competition will give anglers from all over the world the opportunity to experience the wonderful fishing, scenery and hospitality that Scotland has to offer.
